About CariJustice Alliance
CariJustice Alliance is an offshoot of a larger CARIBONO Network comprising lawyers, organizations, activists and media persons in the Caribbean with a mission to promote and facilitate access to justice for members of communities in situations of vulnerability. Building on this vision, lawyers from the Network have now formed CariJustice Alliance, a registered entity, focusing on strategic litigation and legal representation to inadequately served communities.
Our Values CariJustice Alliance understands that the perspectives and needs of those often at the margins of society are integral to the development and evolution of Caribbean jurisprudence. While each country is unique, we share a collective history of colonialism and slavery, which continues to shape our legal systems. Through strategic litigation, we aim to cultivate a Caribbean that reflects the realities and aspirations of our people and protects the rights and freedoms of all.
